Gigi Washington oversees the organization’s efforts in establishing and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices and identifying long-range strategic talent management goals. She also serves on the organization’s Senior Leadership team.
Prior to joining Challenger Center, Gigi served as the Chief Human Capital Management Officer at several colleges and universities. She also served as the President and CEO of her own human resources and management consulting company.
Gigi earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Professionals (SHRM) and has obtained the Senior Certifications from both HRCI and SHRM. Gigi is a certified mediator with the State of Maryland, a certified professional life coach with the International Coaching Federation, and serves on the Board of the ARTSS LLC and the Staff Parish Relations Committee of Westphalia United Methodist Church.
