In her role on the Development and Partnerships team, Paula Dorfman identifies and cultivates support from foundations, corporations, and government funders for Challenger Center and Challenger Learning Centers. She also works to maintain and strengthen existing partnerships with organizations that share the organization’s vision.
Prior to joining Challenger Center, Paula worked for Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital, collaborating with professional women in STEM and corporate sponsors to deliver programs where elementary and middle-school girls could earn their Space Science, Robotics, Coding, and STEM Career Exploration badges. Her previous fundraising experience includes direct donor solicitation and prospect research for B’nai B’rith International and Sapphire Consulting.
Paula holds a bachelor’s degree from Antioch College and a master’s degree from St. John’s College.
