After 37+ years at NASA, I’m excited to be the President and Executive Director of Challenger Center, an organization with such a deep legacy in the space industry and making a significant impact on the lives of students across the country. Thousands of Challenger Center alumni are working in the space sector, and I’m honored to be a part of nurturing that talent pipeline!
This year is the 40th anniversary of both the Challenger tragedy and the forming of Challenger Center. We are spending this year commemorating the Challenger crew and imagining the next 40 years of space exploration—reflecting on how their legacy of exploration lives on today and into the future. I recently spoke with Comcast Newsmakers about the importance of this year and our mission:
If you’re interested in being a part of this legacy, consider joining our Challenger Corps. By donating either $400/year or $40/month, you’ll gain access to behind-the-scenes emails showing how your donations make an impact in students’ lives, and be invited to exclusive events, such as our recent Q&A with best-selling author, Andy Weir.
A contribution to Challenger Center is an investment in our future.
