Challenger Learning Center Summer Camps

Challenger Learning Centers across the country are looking forward to welcoming students this summer with their 2024 summer camp offerings. From Earth science to robotics, to astronomy, and everything in between, Centers provide a variety of exciting STEM-themed camps for K-12 learners.

Challenger Learning Center of Richland County School District One

Dates: June 3 – August 8 

Camp Option(s): Half Day, One Day, Multi-Day

Age Range: 7 – 18 years old

Camp Description(s): Camp themes include Aerospace, Aviation (including Drones), Rockets, and Robots.

Challenger Learning Center at the SHU Discovery Science Center & Planetarium 

Dates: June 24 – August 9 

Camp Option(s): Full Day, Multi-Day

Age Range: 5 – 14 years old

Price(s): $450 (Meal Plans & Extended Day care available as additional add-on)

Camp Description: Weekly themes include Archaeology & Geology, Space, Art & Design, Engineering, Crazy Chemistry, We’re Only Human, and Save Our Planet.

Challenger Center of Lake Erie West

Dates: June 3 – June 23

Camp Option(s): Full Day, Multi-Day

Age Range: 5 – 14 years old

Price(s): $100 per week

Camp Description(s): All camps will include activities focused on space science, NASA initiatives, as well as engineering design challenges.  One camp will be focused specifically on engineering design challenges, coding, and robotics. 

Challenger Learning Center - St. Louis

Dates: June 3 – August 2

Camp Option(s): Full Day, Multi-Day

Age Range: 8 – 12+ years old

Camp Description(s): Camps offered include Astronaut Training Camps, Drone Explorers, RocketLab, and Maker Camp.

Challenger Learning Center at Paducah

Dates: June 3 – July 25

Age Range: 5 – 18 years old

Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana

Dates: June 10 – August 2

Camp Option(s): Full Day, Half Day

Age Range: 5 – 12 years old

Camp Description(s): Topics include chemistry, biology, ecology, engineering, energy, astronomy, food science, nature, forensics, and more. Camps include science activities inside of lab as well as outdoor nature-related activities. 

Challenger Learning Center of Maine

Dates: June 17 – August 15

Camp Option(s): Full Day, Half Day, Multi-Day

Age Range: 6 – 14 years old

Camp Description(s): Camps offered include Astronaut Academy, Expedition Earth, Robot Tech, Becoming a Scientist, and STEM of Transportation.

Challenger Learning Center of Woodstock

Age Range: 6 – 15 years old

Camp Description(s): Camps offered include Introduction to Space, Junior Space Explorers, Instincts for Survival, Robot Rendezvous, CSI Spy, Astronaut Training, GEMS, Lunar Quest, Operation Comet, and Superheroes.

Challenger Learning Center at St. Clair County Community College

Dates: June 17 – August 2

Camp Option(s): Full Day, Multi-Day

Age Range: 8 – 14 years old

Camp Description(s): The Galaxy Quest STEM Summer Camp will incorporate hands-on science and nature fun. Campers will engage in experiments, nature exploration, wildlife encounters, immersive space simulations in the Challenger Learning Center at SC4, and more.
