Sloth Fossil Activity

Students will work in small groups to assemble a giant ground sloth skeleton puzzle, deepening their understanding of the ground slothʼs skeletal structure and engaging in discussions about the fossilization process.

This brief lesson compliments Classroom Adventures: Dirt Decoders. While it primarily focuses on geology and Earth science, it also integrates life science topics.
