Michael Cruz oversees the development and maintenance of our proprietary software and leads the creation of the technical roadmap that outlines the future development of Challenger Center’s software-driven programs. He works closely with our education experts and technology partners to help translate programmatic specifications into technical specifications. Michal is a member of the organization’s Senior Leadership team.
Prior to joining Challenger Center, Michael managed the Systems Engineering group and academic technology product development at local colleges. He began his career as a regulator in the casino gaming industries where he developed and managed a test lab and directed their IT organization.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. He is also a part-time Adjunct Professor in the Information Systems Management program at the University of Maryland University College.
