Julia Austin manages Challenger Center’s day-to-day communication efforts and is responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies and public relations activities that reach and expand our audiences. She works closely with the Challenger Learning Centers and other internal teams to ensure consistency when telling the Challenger Center story of inspiring students with a life-long passion for STEM.
Before joining Challenger Center, Julia worked at the Learning Policy Institute, helping market equity-focused education research. She has experience as a communications consultant, working with nonprofits and foundations across various fields, such as Stanford University, Ford Foundation, Consumer Reports, and The Moth.
Julia holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature and a bachelor’s degree in German studies, both from Stony Brook University.
