To accompany Minecraft Education’s Artemis Worlds—Rocket Build, Return to the Moon, and Moon Base (coming soon)—Challenger Center created a suite of extension lessons that educators can share with students to expand upon what they learned in the Worlds.
While our extension lessons primarily focus on engineering themes, they also integrate Earth and space science topics.
Each Artemis World extension lesson includes experiments, problem-solving, and idea-sharing activities and are designed to be used in both formal and informal education settings:
Additional post-lesson activities are included in each extension lesson to support your students’ understanding through language arts/writing, math, engineering, technology, gaming, career exploration, research, and art.
Approximate program time: 45-60 minutes
Pre- and post-lesson activities available
Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) aligned
Common Core State Standards (CCSS) aligned
